Hey there! On Sunday, May 19, I will be walking to raise awareness and funds for an organization and a community that has a special place in our hearts.
I met Isla in September of 2023 and since then, I have spent most of my Sunday mornings at Friendship Circle with her. This has been my first year participating in Childrens Circle and every Sunday morning when I am able to spend time with Isla, I remember why I joined this amazing program. When I am able to connect with my special friend it brings me so much joy. Isla is comfortable in the friendship circle environment and that is so incredibly important.
I personally joined Friendship Circle because of my very strong connection with my cousin Joe, who is also on the spectrum. My relationship with my cousin is so special to me and it inspired me to take part in this program that I owe so much to. I hope you consider donating to Friendship Circle and continue the growth of this community so that so many more connections can form. Thank you!😊
